Basic Counting Resources

by Roy Winkelman

FCIT has a great collection of counting resources for early childhood ed. There are photos, numeral sets, drawings, audio counting rhymes, posters, and more.

Just one problem—they’re scattered all over various FCIT websites. For this post, I’ve done the searching for you and pulled together “countless” counting resources.

Use these images and counting rhymes to add interest and variety to learning stations, presentations, worksheets, class websites, whiteboard manipulatives, games, and other classroom activities. All of the colorful numerals have transparent backgrounds so they can be placed over other photos or backgrounds without an annoying white rectangle surrounding them. Enjoy!
